Kuala Selangor- The Migrant

Kuala Selangor is also place for many migrant. Being there itself can be rewarding for both bird watching and photography. This newly arrived Crow-Billed Drongo make my day good.

Perfectly tame Tiger Shrike stay as our modal.
Group of Whimbrel and redshank in KSNP park itself is good sighting.
From the outside, Common Tern and Little Tern both stayed together.

Kuala Selangor - The Resident

Kuala Selangor which is an IBA and also a place good for nature watch and nature photography. This is one place that would never fail to amaze people. Some of the few bird we can see are such as this Grey Heron here which is resident in the area. More commonly seen in the heronry.

A part from that, the Lesser Adjutant is another bird that is rather common when you are in the right place. Such as now this 5 in the frame. Total of 7 was observed one within KSNP itself.

A part from that, tern are also in numerous figure. 3 species were documented namely the Gull-billed tern, Common Tern and also the Little Tern. At least 10 species of wader was observed in the mudflat.

Scorpion - Kuala Selangor Nature Park

Kuala Selangor remain one of the easiest place to encounter a scorpian. Though scorpion sting is rare in Kuala Selangor so there is no worry for it. Size range from medium and I have not encounter a large one there yet. Still looking!!!
