Whiskered Treeswift

Treeswift probably one of the more interesting canopy species to look at. Well at least it does stay still for a while. Perhaps one of nature most powerful force to do so is nesting. This one was observed to built nest a few month back.

House Crow

I'm very sure it know how out of place it is. I was also surprise to see some individual actually does not accept its present due to the plumage of this individual. interesting. I always thought they are socialize enough to accept a little difference.

Wader Time

It was a while since i went for wader watch. Today is my time. Im actually surprise to see there was still about 1k wader around the coast where I was. With so many wader there was only one within the high tide roost which is a Curlew Sandpiper. I was hoping for it to be a spoony actually. Anyway it make my trip a success for this time. Got some good number of wader around for me to look at.

Buff-necked Woodpecker

Buff-necked Woodpecker, I must say I find this species easier to photograph in Sabah then in Peninsula. Well with tons of shot i not sure why i want to pick this one. Perhaps due to it trying to get away from the web. It was amusing seeing both male and female on the same tree anooyed by the web. heheheh

Black and Yellow Broadbill

This cartoon is rather confiding. Well it respond to my whistle immediately without much hesitate and stood in front of me for a while. Though lighting was bad as it was after rain I still try my shot anyway. Here is one looking at me after I stop whistling.

Having it rain in the beginning of my arrival i though i may not see it but it does come out early this time. Well with challenging lighting condition I work my way to get my first shot of this species.
